L'Arc~en~Ciel

L'Arc-en-Ciel (ラルク アン シエル, Raruku an Shieru, "The Rainbow" in French) is a Japanese rock band that formed in 1991.
The group has sold over 13 million albums, 16 million singles, and millions of other units, such as videos. They were ranked at number 58, in a list of Japan's top 100 pop musicians, provided by HMV in 2003.

P'UNK~en~Ciel


P'unk-en-Ciel (パンク アン シエル, panku an shieru) is an alter ego of L'Arc-en-Ciel. Introduced in 2004, Hyde takes over guitar, Ken the drums, Yukihiro plays the bass, while Tetsu performs the vocals. P'unk-en-Ciel's songs have a more punk sound and their music is usually heavier and faster with a different tone due to Tetsu's vocals. Hyde wears a pirate patch over his left eye in P'unk-en-Ciel performances. Yukihiro is known to wear a gas mask; however, this has only been seen once at a live concert during their Smile tour in 2004.
Each member is called in capital letters Tetsu P'unk, Ken P'unk, Hyde P'unk and Yuki P'unk. Each member produces one song of their choice, and they alternate their productions.
P'unk-en-Ciel is the revision of D'ark-en-Ciel, the former being a special event that took place during the early L'Arc-en-Ciel years when Sakura was the drummer. The only material released from them is the 18-minute B-side "D'ark-en-Ciel" found on the (then) unreleased The Fourth Avenue Cafe single.

Information about Hyde (Vocal) & VAMPS

Hyde (宝井秀人 Hideto Takari)is the singer for the Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel & VAMPS . He joined L'Arc~en~Ciel in 1991 after leaving another band called Jerusalem's Rod where he was the guitarist.
In addition to being the lead singer and main lyricist of L'Arc~en~Ciel, Hyde has solo projects, as well as his own record label. He is well known for his unique voice, which changes from husky to soft, grunge rock to falsetto.
Hyde keeps his personal information secret.He confirmed his birthdate in an interview for the 2002 March issue of Rockin On Japan.

VAMPS

VAMPS is the name of the band formed by HYDE (L’Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust). HYDE and K.A.Z have been working together on HYDE’s solo work since 2003. After years of collaboration, the two finally decided to form their own band and agreed that there was no better way to announce VAMPS than getting out in front of the fans right away.

Tetsu (小川哲也Tetsuya Ogawa)is the leader and bassist of the Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel . He also does backup vocals .
He has composed many of the band's songs, including 'Link', 'READY STEADY GO', 'finale', 'Driver's High' and 'Pieces'.
Since 2001, he had solo work under the name 'TETSU69' (Number 69 is his birth year). As of 26 November 2006 he changed his solo name to 'tetsu'.

Ken (北村 健, Kitamura Ken)is the guitarist of Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel .
He is also the leader/guitarist/vocalist of the band, Sons Of All Pussys (also known as S.O.A.P) and has released a solo album entitled "In Physical".
He has written a breadth of L'Arc~en~ciel's music ever since his joining, including "As If In A Dream", "Vivid Colors", "Niji", "The Fourth Avenue Café, "Shout At The Devil", "Kasou", "Lies and Truth", "Lover Boy", and "Twinkle Twinkle".

Information about Yukihiro (Drum)

Yukihiro (淡路 幸宏, Awaji Yukihiro), is the drummer and remixer of the Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel as well as the leader of Acid Android.
He joined L'Arc~en~Ciel in 1998, taking over the former drummer, Sakura. He composed a few songs for L'Arc~en~Ciel, including "trick", "cradle", "Revelation", "New World" and "Drink It Down". He is also known for his remixing works of the band, and released the remix album, "ectomorphed works" in 2000.
